Greg Johnson is the Founder /Owner and Chief Engineer at Johnson Engineering & Associates. 

After retiring from the US Navy as a Lieutenant Division Officer, he decided to open his practice as an engineer. He founded JE &A Engineering, which now has offices in Miami, FL, and Frisco, TX.

Greg’s passion for buildings and sustainable design directs the firm’s work, and his construction and contracting background provides a practical perspective on each project. With two decades of experience, Eric is involved in either a design or commissioning role on every project and excels at leading talented engineers and designers toward solutions that are in the client’s and the project’s best interest.

As a founding principal of Johnson Engineering & Associates, Mr. Johnson provides experience from years of practice in the design, construction, and consulting industry. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s daily operations. As a designer, Greg’s passions include collaborating with owners and users to understand their needs truly and providing design solutions that are efficient and appropriate for each client.

Education

Greg attended West Liberty University and gained a degree in Accounting. Later, he entered Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated as an Electrical Engineer.
